LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE

(Outsourced position for our client, a Bahrain based engineering company)
Track suppliers and ensure timely delivery to customers as per the company’s delivery commitment.
Should pay special attention to orders with a letter of credit (LC) or liquidated damage (LD) and ensure timely delivery and document submission to the bank as per LC requirements without incurring any additional cost.
Must have knowledge of import/export clearance requirements in the Middle East and Africa, especially on product regulation (ESMA/ ECAS, COC, SABER) and other ministry approvals such as TRA, MOFAIC, chemical, etc., and pre-organise them wherever possible for smooth customs clearance and delivery.
Experience in local customs and VAT authorities.
Optimise shipping costs by negotiating with various freight forwarders and arranging the shipment as per project requirements.
Thorough knowledge of all the latest ICC Incoterms (2020), and all shipments should be handled as per agreed incoterms with the customer or supplier.
Should have effective communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of MS Office and preferred in SAP.

Budget BD 650 to 850 gross per month – Based on experience and qualification
Plus: annual air ticket and private medical cover for self.
