Description

Responsibilities:
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and trace at the site.
• Ability to plan & execute A.C. ducting network according to drawings and site requirements.
• Ability to select type of materials according to product being fabricated, knowledge of duct materials and fabricator as per standards and specifications
• Installs HVAC equipment, fans, grilles, dampers as drawings.
• Inspects assemblies and installation work for conformance with plans, specifications and trade standards.
• Measures, size, cut and apply duct insulation.
• Performs routine fabrication and/or installation activities.
• Keep tools needed in trade up to date.
• Cross training in ducting system and their application.
• May receive equipment/materials at site.
• Performs related duties as directed by the applicable Foreman or Project Manager.
Qualifications:
• At least 1-3 years of experience in the same field preferably with in construction or MEP sector.
• Able to work as a team member or solely.
• Able to work multiple projects.
• Extensive knowledge in the process for making and repairing ducts and duct fittings.
• Possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Understand shop drawings.
• Work skillfully with tools, duct materials and machines.
• Visualize objects in three-dimensions from drawings.
