Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mercury Marine Mechanic to join our team. As a Mercury Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Mercury outboard motors and related marine equipment. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' watercraft.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on Mercury outboard motors and related marine equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Inspect, adjust, and repair electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, and other components as necessary.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used for each job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with customers, addressing their concerns, and providing recommendations for maintenance and repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Mercury marine technology and attend relevant training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Mercury Marine Technician is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mercury Marine Mechanic or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Mercury outboard motors and their components.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
