Description

A reputed company is looking for an electrician with below qualifications.

 High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or technical certification is preferred.
 Valid electrical trade license or certification, as required by local regulations.
 Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in the maritime or offshore industry.
 Thorough understanding of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and controls used in marine vessels.
 Knowledge of marine electrical codes, regulations, and standards, such as those set by classification societies.
 Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
 Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems effectively.
 Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and insulation testers.
 Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and practices, including lockout/tagout, arc flash, and grounding.
 Ability to work in a maritime environment, including onshore and offshore locations, and adapt to changing work schedules or emergency situations.
 Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, engineers, and other stakeholders.
 Physical stamina and the ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy equipment.
 Proficient in using basic computer applications and software for maintenance tracking and documentation.
 Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
