Description

A reputed company is looking for a Welding and Fabrication Supervisor with:

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and extensive practical experience will also be considered.
 10 years experience in a similar role as a Welding and Fabrication Supervisor, preferably within the marine or shipbuilding industry.
 Strong knowledge of welding techniques, processes, and standards, including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW.
 Familiarity with classification society rules and regulations related to welding and fabrication, such as ABS, DNV, and BV.
 Experience managing welding and fabrication projects, including vessel construction, modification, and repair.
 Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and welding symbols.
 He demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of welders and fabricators.
 Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and best practices in welding and fabrication operations.
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot welding issues and provide effective solutions.
 Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
 Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools for welding and fabrication planning and documentation.
 Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced marine logistics environment.
