Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians in providing medical care and treatments to animals

Preparing and maintaining medical equipment, instruments, and supplies

Administering medications as directed by the veterinarian

Collecting and analyzing laboratory samples

Assisting in surgical procedures, monitoring anesthesia, and maintaining a sterile environment

Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring proper documentation

Educating pet owners about preventive care, medications, and post-operative instructions

Providing compassionate and high-quality care to all animals

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

Must Have Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital

Certification as a Veterinary Technician is a plus

Strong knowledge of animal behavior, common diseases, and medical terminology

Proficiency in veterinary software and record-keeping systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills
