Description

Vacancy available for a FEMALE accountant with minimum 5 years of experience.

Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Ensure books of accounts are accounted accurately in line with the
accounting standards on daily basis
2. Reconciliation of Sales Day end Reports with the Sales Receipts and related
reporting and reconciliations to be prepared and accounted on daily basis
3. Reconciliation of Credit Card statements with Bank and ensure the amounts
are being deposited to bank and related tracking
4. Review of inventory Consumption and stock accounting and reconciling the
same with Purchase System
5. Ensure all supplier invoices are accounted for on a daily basis and ensure
payments are made on timely basis and within due dates
6. Prepare Payable and Receivable listing on monthly basis and prepare
ageing of accounts payable and receivable balances
7. Preparation of Cash payments , checks and wire Transfers and providing
Proof of payment to the suppliers along with the bill details once the
payments has been completed .
8. Coordinate with suppliers and have an efficient communication and rapport
and ensuring suppliers and other payees are communicated proactively on
the payment timelines.
9. Supplier Account Reconciliations on Quarterly basis with supplier statement
of accounts
10. Fixed Asset Register, Depreciation Schedule ,Loans and Advances and other
balance sheet reconciliations to be prepared on monthly basis
11. Prepare cash flow statement and/or fund position on daily basis
12. Accounting of Payroll and prepare final settlement and send to HQ Payroll
for review

13. In Charge of Petty Cash payments and to ensure an accurate track is
maintained and reconciled on monthly basis
14. Complete Accounting Closure of the books of account on Monthly basis
within time by the 5th of the month
11. VAT Return and Filing within due dates
12. Prepare for Audits for the year and coordinate with auditors to complete
the audit within time
13. Identify recommendations for process improvement and assist with test
scheduling in respect of implementing financial systems/tools.

Technical Requirements
 Master’s degree in accounting
 Qualifications (ACA, ACCA) is a plus but not required
 8+ years of experience within accounting
 Excellent Understanding of Internal Controls and Accounting Processes
