Qualification & Requirements:

Proven experience in web development, software development, or related.
Web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with content management systems (CMSs) such as WordPress
Agile and test-driven development best practices.
Ability to write and edit technical documentation
Knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrates positive attitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, and excellent time management skills.
Completes assigned duties based on daily business needs and individual skill set.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.


In this role you will wear different hats, but your skills will be especially essential in the following areas:

Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins, themes, and templates
Contribute to the development of new features and functionality
Ensure a high standard for code quality, back-end performance, and security of WordPress sites
Troubleshoot and debug complex code issues
Document code and procedures
Collaborate with the design team to create and implement website designs
Integrate third-party APIs and other tools into WordPress and Laravel sites
Troubleshoot and resolve back-end issues related to WordPress functionality and performance
Work closely with the web team to ensure that website projects are delivered on time and within budget
Capable of improving and iterating on the information architecture of the website to create a more scalable and user-friendly experience
Stay up to date on the latest Website designs, trends and technologies

Experience with WordPress theme development
Knowledge of various APIs and integrations
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
React and/or Angular JS experience is a plus
Familiarity with WordPress best practices and coding standards
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred.
