Description

Urgent requirement for a junior network administrator with 1 to 3 years of experience who can do the following:

• Install, configure, and support the organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) of a network system.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Install Windows OS for Users and Server Operating systems. Diagnose/Solve Hardware & Software related problem on Desktops and Laptops and network devices.
• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.
• Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies. Ensuring normal functioning of PABX, telephone over IP and reliability of telephone billing software.
• Apply Operating Systems patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required
