Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

- To be instrumental in providing for an aggressive expansion of the Group Holding by analyzing its key areas of operation i.e., manufacturing, trading, and real estate activities and providing for a 1, 3 & 5 Year Business Plan that maps its strategy in attaining the above and below the line growth figures laid down and maintaining financial stability. The growth must be sustainable and healthy. To grow the business with 10 years by vertical & horizontal diversification strategies where required, with business acquisitions where suitable. Responsible for results. Ensure high level of management integrity & incorporate governance.
- To implement its plan through the organization of all resources required in most efficient and cost effective way and be in coordination in overseeing all expansion / investment plans with Business Units through the existing Management undertaken smoothly. Its strategy will encompass providing expansion for both its existing portfolio of companies as well expansion outside its core business areas where opportunities are found suitable in the synergy of business activities/philosophy.
- To ensure the Holding Group will operate as per policies, procedures and corporate governance. Ensure all policies and procedures are updated as required. Policies are for internal systems, for decision making process and the Group interaction with all business units.
- To protect Chairman/DGH from wrong investments, legal matters, Board related advice for investments and jointly formulate the KPI/objectives of Senior Management of the subsidiaries/Associate companies and evaluate their performance, advise on salary/perks/contract changes on a yearly basis and get those approved by MD/Chairman of DGH.
- To undertake/conduct due diligence and feasibility studies of projects of interest or presented by Director or Management (internally with the help of external consultants where required).
- To influence & control the decisions of the Associates and to get involved in associates / subsidiaries to ensure all Business units Management are working profitably and growing according to plan & DGH's culture, discipline, policies, procedures, decisions to bring control to those companies under overall directives provided by the DGH's MD/Chairman.
-To report to the Management and BOD on a regular and timely basis/monthly regarding the performance against plan and its management in maintaining strategic direction of the business to include; Financial, Customer Perspective, Business Development, Internal Commitment and provide special report.

Qualifications:

- MBA-Finance and/or Management Accountancy (legal)
- Must be certified Chartered Accountant
- Minimum 10 years experience in similar job
- with experience from a diversified group having business in the area of food packaging, FMCG, selling & distribution, trading and manufacturing of paint & chemicals, contracting, Fashion & Clothing, Educational Institution, Properties & Real Estate, General trading, retail & Agency for food etc.
- Extremely assertive with strong business knowledge in different industries structure.
- Must have strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
