Job Summary:

As a Food Delivery Logistics Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end logistics operations for food delivery services. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of food orders to customers, coordinating with various stakeholders involved in the delivery process. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our food delivery service.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Planning and Execution:
* Plan and coordinate food delivery routes to optimize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
* Assign delivery tasks to drivers, ensuring proper allocation of resources and timely order fulfillment.
* Monitor delivery progress and proactively address any issues or delays to ensure on-time deliveries.

2. Fleet Management:
* Manage and maintain the fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
* Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular servicing and repairs of delivery vehicles.
* Schedule vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance schedules.

3. Vendor and Partner Management:
* Collaborate with food vendors and partner restaurants to coordinate food pick-ups and ensure timely availability for deliveries.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, resolving any delivery-related issues or concerns.
* Regularly communicate with vendors to manage supply and demand, ensuring adequate inventory for delivery orders.

4. Quality Control:

* Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and freshness of delivered food items.
* Conduct periodic inspections of delivery operations, monitoring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
* Address any customer complaints or quality issues related to food delivery promptly and effectively.

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

* Develop and maintain performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of food delivery operations.
* Generate regular reports on delivery performance, highlighting areas of improvement and proposing strategies to enhance overall performance.
* Analyze data and insights to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.

6. Continuous Improvement:

* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization in delivery operations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, and customer service, to enhance the overall food delivery experience.
* Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in food delivery logistics.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
* Previous experience in food delivery logistics, transportation, or a similar role.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Knowledge of local traffic regulations and routes.
* Familiarity with delivery management software and systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
