Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Bahrain to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing financial reports. If you are a driven individual with a passion for accounting and knowledge of QuickBooks, as well as VAT registration and submission, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
Manage payroll and related tax filings
Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze financial data and identify trends or areas for improvement
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
Train and mentor junior accounting staff
Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including registration and submission of VAT returns
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting in Bahrain
Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
Knowledge of VAT regulations, including registration and submission of VAT returns
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: BHD 300
