1. Main responsibilities and expected contributions


The IT Infrastructure team, located in Bahrain, provides services and support to MEA region. The major responsibilities of the team is to guarantee the availability of all IT Systems (Data and Platform) of the territory under its perimeter, to perform the IT Infrastructure tasks and periodic recurring tasks and to ensure the second level of support for all users in case of incidents or requests.
The IT Infrastructure team is also responsible to provide regular reporting of their activities through metrics and dashboards. It includes the follow-up and reporting of the budget status in collaboration with and requested by the Regional IT Governance.
The role of the IT Infrastructure Officer will be to assist the IT Infrastructure Manager in ensuring that the team activities and duties including execution, control and reporting are carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures of the department.

• Respond to emergencies within required timeframe
• > 80% of tasks are completed within the target completion dates
• Stakeholders are frequently informed on work being done
2] Projects Management







• >80% of projects undertaken are completed within the target end date
• All projects to be completed with appropriate documentation associated with implementation tasks, such as testing and post-implementation tasks, such as support and knowledge transfer to the team members

3] Change Management

• > 80 % of changes performed to be implemented within the target time
• Changes performed should not cause major P1 incidents

4. Competencies, Experiences and Skills
Description

List competencies which are required to perform the various tasks. Rate their importance in the adjoining column. Below is a list of competencies you could use as an example.
Note that education, years of experience and language are mandatory requirements for all JD’s


• Administering Windows 2012/2016/2019 Servers.
• Windows Patching Management (Planning, testing, deployment)
• Vulnerability fixes, remediation.
• VMWare, ESX Server Installation, Administration.
• ESX Server Patching.
• Backup and recovery.
• Microsoft Windows Clustering.
• Basic troubleshooting of Networking (DNS, DHCP, TELNET, PORT Information)
• Managing McAfee Antivirus.
• PowerShell scripting knowledge.

• Backup technology.
• Storage Management.
• Server’s BIOS, IDRAC Firmware update

Mandatory Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science )
• 6 Years of relevant work experience and 10 years of overall experience
• Must be fluent in English (speaking reading and writing)
• Must be able to work independently
