Cargo Company looking for Junior Accountant:
Junior Accountants support upper-level accounting managers and senior accountants while providing important services within the office. They are integral to the hierarchy of the office and resolve many issues before they become problems. Junior Accountants have the following responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Familiar with Quickbook account Zoho account
• Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Notifying senior accountants of accounting errors
• Maintains historical records by filing documents
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, inventory records etc. as assigned
• Assisting in preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting tasks

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• High level of accuracy and attention to details
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
