Description

• Pursue and bid on new projects.
• Understand and determine how a space will be used and how people will move through it.
• Draw preliminary design plans.
• Determine materials and furnishings including furniture, lighting, wall finishes, plumbing fixtures, and flooring.
• Establish each client’s goals and necessary project requirements.
• Develop timelines for design projects and estimate respective costs.
• Manage construction while coordinating with the general building contractors to execute the project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement to Place materials orders and oversee all design elements installations.
• Conduct site visits during the project execution as required to ensure design is followed at sire and after the project is complete to ensure 100% client satisfaction.
• Participating in client meetings to discuss design plans and gather feedback on preliminary designs
• Reviewing construction documents to ensure that specifications meet design requirements
• Coordinating with architects and contractors to ensure that construction meets design specifications
• Creating conceptual sketches, renderings, and other illustrations to communicate design concepts to clients
• Compiling data regarding client preferences, lifestyle habits, and architectural styles to create a design concept that meets the client’s needs in terms of style and ergonomics
• Presenting design concepts, mood boards to clients in order to gain approval of preliminary plans
• Developing interior design concepts for commercial, retail, or industrial spaces
• Consulting with clients about their needs in order to create a design solution that meets their goals within their budget constraints
• Managing the design process from start to finish by overseeing contractors, scheduling meetings with clients and other team members, and communicating with clients
• Any/all other requirement belongs to your job as will be assigned by company when it is needed.
